Hello everyone, I'm Jess. The founder of The Pilgrim Project!
The Pilgrim Project was inspired by a time of struggle, where I began to draw strength looking at one of the saints; St. Carlo Acutis. Looking at St. Carlo Acutis, a young man perfected by God, and with a glance to the Cross, I recognised all acts of love and gratitude that God called me to do. Acts I was desperately trying to avoid.
I could no longer resist, despite not having the energy or heart, I began to act. It was through that time that I felt my heart becoming lighter and my spiritual state began to flourish. It was looking to St. Carlo Acutis, and seeing our Lord on the Cross, that I was given strength and energy to do God's will.
During this time I found myself wishing that all people had physical reminders of Home; of Heaven. This is how the Pilgrim Project was realised.
